1994: Cogeneration unit System Anker
In September 1994 the ANKER cogeneration unit, developed in-house,
came on stream. This is a small diesel-powered generating station
that uses combined heat and power generation. The system offers the
following advantages:
As a finished heating power station would have been too expensive, master brewer Fischer designed a system himself. In contrast to conventional heating power stations, control does not depend on electricity requirements, but on heat requirements. Thus, up to 90% of heat can be used. Electricity is simply a by-product. The 180 kW heat and 90 kW electrical energy provided by it cover the total heat and electricity requirements of the bottling facility.

Energy efficient technologies are develloped inhouse.
